Day 3: Hands
Today I chose to use my hands in action doing what I do best. Creating artwork.
This is my job. I’m a production artist at a newspaper company creating advertisements that catch people’s eyes to make them want to buy the product or call the company. Below is one ad that I created today. Enjoy!
Day 2 : Words
The three most meaningful words to my life. Representing a close friend I lost in high school, 5 years ago. Live Your Dash. The dash being the line between the year you were born and the year you die. Live your life, it can be taken away so easily.
So I found this February photo a day challenge. Each day is a new subject matter that you are supposed to shoot. I figured since I always have a hard time hanging on to the 365 Challenge’s that I could make it through this one as it instructs you.
Today’s subject was “Your view today”. Since today was just a nice weather day I decided to go for a little drive. I love getting lost in the city of Pittsburgh. Though by now, I’m not really getting lost and almost know my way through the streets!
I figured a good post to start off with would be to tell a little about myself. I’m a 23 almost 24 year old dreamer. I work in the design field at a newspaper in the Pittsburgh area. Sometimes on the side I like to do some work for bands like posters or flyers. I like to think of myself as a person who is good at everything, but not great. I’m just a great all around person, so get to know me!
I am a snowboarding fanatic when it comes to winter time. I go out every single weekend and progress myself a little more each time. This year is my second year of boarding and I have picked up so many new tricks and styles since I’ve started.
I also love photography. I have a Nikon D40, which I would love to upgrade when the money comes around. I haven’t had much of a chance to pick it up lately due to my job and the long hours that I work. I don’t see the daylight much D:. That is one area I really want to get back into though. Some day I would really love to get into shooting extreme sports such as snowboarding, skiing, motocross, etc. The fast pace of it really gets me moving and I just love the atmosphere of that kind of event.
Things you might find on this blog will be photos I’ve taken, videos from my GoPro/iPhone 4S or random art. Maybe I’ll throw some other things in as well, but you’ll have to follow to find out!
